Like Little Winged Peeping Toms

What are these things, and why are they staring at me?

Maybe a grasshopper?

It's hard to tell, but it had a sort of curlicue tail going on.
Kinda like a butt antennae, really.

Surprisingly, the legs are creepier than the eyes.
Ooh, smudges! Possibly nose prints!
